Empty cabin

I'm seated in a train cabin and the entire row to my left and right is empty. Opposite me there's just two persons. Three persons came in and sat on the seats to my left and right. It doesn't help that there's seats for them at the other end of the row and that could still leave an empty seat beside me, it doesn't help that they're talking loudly across me, it doesn't help that they are bangalahs and made me uncomfortable...

what are they thinking?!
