ahh. study progress have been extremely slow for these few days ever since our one week holiday has begun. iM still stuck at Fluids, having had covered less than half of the supposed chapters covered for quiz that's due on monday. iM feeling so shitty.

just too bad, that iM still in the holiday mood. have been playing majong again, this time winning afew bucks for a meal. ended at 6am this morning after a meeting, and it was stopped even though we have not finished the last "south" round. guess it will end around 7am if we continued to formally bring an end to the game? omG! its the latest ending game i've ever played. loL~

and this afternoon i've been to kBox. so shag and tired now. yawNz!

huat ah! new year is the season for gambling. just too bad that i've only managed to touch the tiles once.. and i had to tutor my friend hands-on, so it wasn't really too exciting, except for the times every now and then when i had to scream pong or chi or hu for her coZ she is too blur! hahahaha! but we all had fun =)

that was one of the more fun majong sessions i had in hall, cept for the time when i had played a 2 person majong. yes, two person, have any of u been exposed to it before? that was the first time i've heard of it, and yes, it was an exciting game with stakes that easily run too high. >.<

happy CNY!

yes my friends, thank you. my eye (only 1 side) is improving. although the lump is still there, it is not causing any discomfort now, and my vision is back to normal =) iM so much more relieved. perhaps that's God's reminder to treasure what we have now. yes, my God.

the lunar year is flipping to a new beginning in less than 2 hours time. happy Chinese New Year! that will be the year of pig, lunar calendar dating as the year 丁亥(hai4)年. according to my parents, there arnt numbers in the history of china. from all the 古装 shows that you probably have watched, you should know that even the time of the day is not announced in numerical numbers.

and interesting to note, it is mentioned that the year of pig favors those born in the year of tiger. well well, even if this is true, lets just take it as a general statement sweeping across all tigers. (but of coz, that's something to be glad about huh)

with this year coming to an end, i've made an additional resolution to put down 2 burdens i've been carrying for the past year. put it down, letting it go by leading yourself, via imagination in the mind's eye, through the step by step process of letting it go. this is something i've learnt in one of my elective, and there should be a term to it, but obviously i've forgotten. i really love those 2 of my electives as they deal much with the psychology aspect of a person, and teaches you how to cope stress. yes, i've brought myself through 2 separate processes. its time i should really put it down.

so now, to all who are still holding on any negative memories, regrets, or remorse, please throw it aside. It's time to let it go, isnt it?

the preciousness of sight

i finally know what is the prob with my eye, here is a lump again, and it is really pressing very hard and causing much strain on my eye balls. sounds digusting? well, iM really really scared. just last semester, i had a 'pimple' on my left eye lid, and after dragging for 1 mth, i finally had to undergo a small op to have it removed. the difference now is that now the lump is not visible (i thgt it was skin prob ard my eye), and cld not be felt until today. and this is already 2 wks from when the prob seem to have surfaced. and what's worse, its now at the tip of my eye. worse coZ the last time, the doc can just flip over my eye lid to surgically remove the 'pimple' (sounds easy? but it is really v pain, and my eyes was swollen with blueblack few days aft it). and now, how to flip over if its at the tip??! ahhh! iM really really worried. my eyesight is seriously deteriorating.

yes, i know i should really go see the doc now that i've really cfmed the existence of the lump. but going to a doc alone is feels so terrible! and that's even more worse to go alone on v-day. yeah, thats tmL. happy v-day to everyone huh, i think iM going to have a terrible day tmL. haiX.

to think that i've happily went to 3 21st bday celeb in the last wkend. argH* i shld have NOT helped out at the uni-entrance talk at suntec to get more rest, considerating the state i was in. and furthermore, iM seriously lagging behind lecture. yes, and i didnt have enough time to study for my quiz today, resulting in a really pathetic situation. great man, i got all my answers wrong! so so sad. i cldnt really conc even if i go lecture/tut due to my failing vision. and iM almost typing with my eyes closed now! cries..

aww.. just finished 'chatting' with andy.. its a long way that we (people in uni) have gone through in the process of getting to know people. from strangers as lab mates, to committee mate, to friends. talking about comm stuff somehow can just side track to become 'gossiping' about our fellow committee members. in this way, sharing session has really allowed each of us to know more about the other party, isn't it that way? XD

and of coz, this wouldnt be possible if i dont have the privacy to myself (no roomie to eye on my sleeping and silent time) =)

single room!

argH* what is wrong with the weather recently? its so brRrrr* one good thing is that iM able to 'control' the speed of the fan... coZ... i've got my singLe room! yeah! yesh yesh, i can now reduce the speed of the fan whenever iM cold! =) its really a good news, other than the thought that i had (a past event) moved my stuff from the 4th story to the 5th - from one block to another. >.<

yes, that was a feat, considering that i had almost single-handedly moved the stuff on the first day (coz my Friends were not very willing to help), and got abit of help from here and there. yuP, and the 'move' seem to have aggrevated my poor skin. omg, iM out of shape now! XD
