Yesterday I almost got knocked. just an arm's length away. okay it was partially my fault for not looking back and checking the traffic before walking Out of the road shoulder, but hey! why did that fan park that way it did?
look at that truck up there. imagine it parked perpendicular to it! that was how that damn van parked itself before it got straightened up. i had no choice but to walk beyond the road shoulder, and that was how i got horned by the bus and so close to danger.
descibed in the picture above is a scenario i see everyday on my way home if i end work late. and I dislike those trips home.. especially if I am wearing a skirt/dress. those construction works are seated along the pedestrian walk way while waiting for the bus to pick them off work. so please imagine how taunting it is for a female to walk down a not-very-wide-lane with workers looking at you as you walk down that more than 10meters long path. and the van/buses poses a danger to pple who passes that junction. argh. i so wanna take a clear shot of the entire situation and get some authorities to step in. hello, if workers are knocking off from the site, why isnt the bus picking them up from Inside the site?! why are they waiting outside and causing traffic prob and worry to pedestrians, like me. why?!!!
