I saw my 学妹 boarding the train at Redhill Mrt.
it's her first year and she is wearing the name temp name tag despite alrd on the way home. despite how smartly dressed, the skirt will still crease and fold upwards due to the bag that hangs above. and it's still the bright yellow and seemingly same material, which will fade over the years to a translucent blouse by the start of First 3 Months of the next stage in life.
apparently it's one of the few schools which still requires students to wear white shoes to school. but don't worry girl, ur shoes will bleach to a colorful one by the end of sch year, just as how ur skirt will find it's way to grow short at a faster time than it take for ur legs to grow long. soon, you'll understand and experience it for yourself..
then I smiled :)
it's been a long while since then. I wonder if there were also people looking at us then, smiling to themselves, and thinking how long it had been for themselves..
